ISRA/QCWA Annual Picnic 2008
The annual "pot luck" picnic for the members of both the Boise Chapter, ISRA, and the Gem State Chapter, QCWA, will be held again in the back yard of Jack Hotchkiss, KC7CNL, and his XYL Carolyn on Saturday, August 9th. Their address is 3708 N. Hawthorn Drive - - -
Jack and Carolyn have enough eating space, so additional tables won't be necessary. They have a lot of chairs, but just to be safe, stick a couple in your car.
We will be entertained (again this year) by a family of young Canadian Geese chicks. Jim tells us he won't have last year's bees. He's developed some sort of a procedure which discourages their presence.
This is a pot luck affair. Bring food, silverware and plates, and maybe your drink. Don't know yet if either club will supply soda pop.
Time to begin eating?? Tentative time is 12:00 noon until I'm told differently.

Using the intersection of State St. and 36th, (Wendy's and Albertsons) as a reference point _ - Proceed North on 36th to the 5-way light on Hill Road (Hillside Jr. High, turn directly West on Catalpa, passing 39th St. and Tamarack Dr., turn left (South) on N. Hawthorne Drive. Look for 3708 N. Howthorn Drive on the left with towers and yagi's. You're there.
